Beautifully Disturbing

I have superglue all over my fingers currently.

My mom has been hounding me to clean my room to a ridiculous extent, because that's the only way she feels she can use it as a second guest bedroom. So while I'm trying to throw things away and clear off the surfaces as much as possible I keep finding cool stuff. Today it was this long-stemmed glass flower that my friend gave me. I'd accidentally stepped on it in the dark (never put things on the floor...) and broke it into four pieces, so while cleaning I decided this would be a good time to go ahead and finally fix that. Luckily we have some super strength glue that lists glass as one of the things it's intended to be used for. So, I'm in the process of gluing that back together as I finish cleaning. I have clothes that I'm bringing back to New York lining my closet in piles, and my suitcase out, but I'm actually making some headway with everything else.

It's kinda depressing being pushed out of the room you grew up in. At the same time, I can't wait until I'm out of the dorms and into an apartment of my own back East. Growing up is weird. I wanna go watch Peter Pan.
