carvinkeeper12I am a silly girl. I got sunburned so bad over the weekend. We went out on Carolyn's boat on Saturday for Seafair, to watch the Blue Angels' airshow from the lake. I was good and put sunscreen on right at the beginning, but then completely forgot to reapply until we got back at about 4pm (we'd left around 11:30). Today at my internship every movement that made my jeans rub my thighs the wrong way was a little bit of agony. I think the only parts of me that didn't get at least a little burned were the backs of my legs, the tops of my feet, and my eyelids.
In more exciting news, I cooked tonight. I like cooking, and I'm alright at it, but I just never seem to get up the energy or drive to do it normally. My dad and I stopped by the store on the way home from work though, and I decided to go for it. We also stopped at the library where I picked up The Complete First Season of the new Doctor Who series. So my dad and I ended up watching a few episodes of that over dinner. I'm excited. A lot of my friends keep gushing about the show, and my friends tend to have good taste so I'm excited to be starting it finally. So far it's great.
Now, it's time to cover myself in aloe and lotion with Vitamin E in it before passing out. Gotta figure out how to get the ad campaign assets all over the world in the morning! Marketing is strange. And hectic.
