The weather has been really cool the past couple of days. For some reason I was inspired to go up on my roof yesterday, and I realized I easily could. So I ran around a bit and admired the view before jumping back down onto our deck. I can't do that when anyone's home because of how easy it is to even hear a squirrel skitter across it, but nobody else is home this weekend.

When I was driving home yesterday, just before the roof climbing, I had to slam on my breaks partway up Juanita Drive because a couple of deer decided to run across onto the golf course. I knew there were deer because we're right near St. Ed's, but I'd never actually seen them before. It was cool, especially because the sun had just begun to break through the clouds for the first time in a couple of days.

Then today when I got home from dropping my brother off at his soccer teammate's house so I don't have to drive him to his games in Bellingham this weekend, the weather was doing the same thing except with even more sun. So I grabbed the book I'm currently reading (Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett) and climbed back up. I stayed until my dad got home. Jumping down hurt a little more this time because I was barefoot, but what can you do?

This weekend should be...well, from here it actually looks quite boring. Other than calling Barnes and Nobel tomorrow I have no plans, but I'll also be the only one here. Graham's at the Schroder's and then in Bellingham, and my parents are hosting Kuli Loach up at Whistler. I could do the receipts my mom wanted me to design and talk to the site hosting company about deals for her webspace, but that won't take all that long. Maybe I'll just get to enjoy sleeping in without my mom bitching at me for it.

In other news, Alan informed me that Erik is almost done with the Local H music video. Alan and I are both in it, and Alan helped to film it. He sent me the link, and it's looking really cool. Hard to tell it's me if you don't know exactly which anonymous iPod-wearing, vinyl-attacked, ninja victim I am. Sadly, they left out the split-screen bit which would have been all me. Oh well, it's ninjas in Times Square! It was really fun to shoot, and watch Fuse for it. I think I remember Erik saying it was definitely gonna be on there.
