My mom's 50th birthday was today, so we threw her a party and invited everyone. My dad got Kuli Loach, our friend's band, to play a couple Dead songs and sing Happy Birthday as the cake was handed out. Sadly, I missed this part as I was sitting at Woodinville High School waiting for my brother's soccer practice to finish. But I had Carolyn in the car with me, so the wait wasn't too bad. After most of the adults left Carolyn and I jetted down to the U for about an hour to see Brian and get Bubble Tea and hang out in his room for a bit. So, yeah, I've now been in a frat. Sweet. I think we're going back Thursday night to see everyone when they're gathered for the Lost season finale.

Tomorrow consists of redesigning my mom's business cards and getting them ordered, re-vamping the job search, and...I dunno. I kinda want to get a manicure. Maybe I can fit in time/money for that.

My friend and I were in a Borders recently, and aside from being reminded of meeting you and how much fun THAT free concert was compared to the one we stumbled upon then, we were looking at a names and meanings book. It was really cool, and according to that I'm a pretty damn good mix between my first and middle names. It was cool.

It's funny though, you think about the impression someone's name gives you...and there are definitely a few names that are associated with certain personalities and such. Like Britney or Ashley. And then there's names like ours that seem so diverse in the type of people that have them. I dunno, it's kinda fun to think about.
